Project development stage
Defined objectives, the critical needs of hospitals and personal protective equipment. Team of 15 volunteers including 4 doctors. Already provided 120 facial shields manufactured in Lviv by the team at the Tech Startup School. Distributed 1,000 medical masks. Funds raised for the purchase of 50 pulse oximeters. Ongoing work to reach out to international donors.
The value of the project
In Ukraine, the level of infection of doctors reaches 18% of the total number of patients. Doctors on the front line need to be protected as much as possible – it is they who save the lives of patients and prevent the spread of the virus. Failure to do so will result in catastrophic consequences, including the collapse of the entire medical system.
Innovation / uniqueness of the project
In the context of the project we are providing protective facial shields for doctors, which are prepared by 3D printing by the Tech Startup School
Lviv, Lviv region, Western Ukraine, Ukrainian diaspora abroad and friends of Ukraine
